Cruse (https://cruse.in) was designed from the ground up to protect user privacy. All digital utilities—including image cropping, biometric sizing, barcode encoding, payment QR rendering, trigonometric calculations, and nutritional estimates—execute strictly inside your browser's local sandbox.
We never upload, inspect, store, or transmit your personal photos, health metrics, dates of birth, or financial VPAs to any server.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Most web utility platforms monetize user data by sending uploaded documents and entries to remote cloud servers. Cruse operates under an absolute zero-server ingestion policy:
- No Biometric or Photo Storage: When you use the Passport Photo Maker or image tools, the original image and cropped result exist solely in your local browser RAM via the HTML5 File API and HTML Canvas. No byte of your image ever leaves your computer or mobile phone.
- No Health or Body Metrics: Height, weight, gender, age, activity level, and dietary numbers entered into our BMI, Calorie, Daily Protein, or Water intake calculators are calculated client-side in JavaScript and discarded upon page reload.
- No Financial or Payment Identifiers: Virtual Payment Addresses (UPI VPAs), merchant names, transaction notes, and amounts entered into the UPI QR Code Generator are converted directly into QR matrix code points on your screen without network transmission.
- No Barcode Payload Storage: Text strings, serial numbers, ISBNs, and inventory codes encoded into Code 128, EAN-13, or UPC-A barcodes are rendered as vector SVGs in your browser without logging.
- No Motion or Orientation Telemetry: Gyroscope and accelerometer data accessed by screen measurement tools are processed frame-by-frame and immediately cleared.
2. Browser Storage (LocalStorage & Cookies)
To provide a fast, personalized experience without requiring user accounts or logins, Cruse stores minimal non-sensitive configuration keys strictly on your device using HTML5 LocalStorage:

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)
Cruse is provided 100% free of charge to all users without subscriptions. To cover our high-speed static CDN hosting and domain maintenance costs, we partner with third-party advertising networks, including Google LLC (Google AdSense).
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Cruse or other websites on the Internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative at www.aboutads.info.
4. Web Performance Analytics
We may collect non-personally identifiable aggregate telemetry (such as total pageviews, device category, browser engine, country of origin, and referral URLs) strictly to evaluate site health and ensure mobile responsive stability. We do not use intrusive user fingerprinting, session replay trackers, or cross-site identity graphs.

For visitors residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, because Cruse processes tool operations solely in your local browser sandbox and does not store personal data on remote servers, we do not maintain personal user databases. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data. Cruse does not sell your personal information. Any data processed during tool usage stays on your local hardware.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA - India)
In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Cruse adheres strictly to principles of data minimization and purpose limitation. We do not process digital personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for real-time client-side tool delivery.
6. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Our services are general-audience utilities intended for academic, professional, and everyday utility. Cruse does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

Our site may contain links to official government portals, standard specifications, or third-party websites. Once you navigate away from Cruse, you are subject to the privacy practices of that respective third party. All Cruse web pages are delivered strictly over encrypted Transport Layer Security (HTTPS).
