Engineered for Precision & Speed

Cruse is an independent suite of single-purpose micro-utilities designed to replace bloated, ad-ridden web tools with instant, private, hardware-calibrated alternatives.

Why Cruse Exists

Every day, millions of people need simple digital utilities: measuring a physical bolt with an on-screen ruler, generating a clean inventory barcode, calculating their exact daily protein requirement, or resizing a passport photo.

Unfortunately, typical search results point to bloated websites filled with 15 ad trackers, intrusive cookie banners, paywalls, and slow server-side processing that demands your personal data. When you upload a passport photo or type financial information into typical websites, your sensitive data is sent across remote cloud servers.

Cruse was built to challenge this status quo. We believe everyday utilities should be instant, free, accurate, and completely respectful of your privacy.

100% Client-Side Sandbox

All image cropping, barcode generation, trigonometric calculations, and sensor measurements happen directly in your browser's local RAM. Your photos, biometric details, and financial VPAs never touch our servers.

Hardware Calibration

Instead of guessing screen dimensions, our rulers and protractors calibrate against standard ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 physical reference cards for genuine actual size physical accuracy.

Zero Bloat & Zero CLS

Pre-rendered static HTML with minimal JavaScript. No heavy single-page application hydration overhead, no layout shifts, and sub-second load times worldwide.

Technical Architecture & Standards

Cruse is engineered with a strict modern web philosophy:

  • Biometric Sizing Compliance: Our Passport Photo Maker enforces official international ICAO Doc 9303 standards and embassy dimension templates (US 2x2", Indian Passport 35x45mm, Schengen, PAN Card, and UPSC).
  • Peer-Reviewed Health Formulas: Our metabolic health calculators use the clinically validated Mifflin-St Jeor equation for basal metabolic rate (BMR), World Health Organization (WHO) BMI classifications, and ISSN dietary guidelines for daily protein synthesis.
  • Standards-Based Symbology: Barcode generation follows GS1 specifications for EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, ITF-14, and Code 39, with automated modulo checksum verification and vector SVG export.
  • Static Delivery: Built with Astro v7 static site generator, Cruse pages are compiled directly to optimized HTML, CSS, and vanilla TypeScript without database dependencies.
