No. All photo resizing, passport cropping, and barcode generation happens 100% in your local browser sandbox via HTML5 Canvas. No files or photos are ever uploaded or transmitted to our servers.
Can I use generated barcodes and QR codes commercially?▼
Yes! All barcodes (Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, ITF-14) and QR codes generated on Cruse can be freely printed on physical retail packaging, warehouse labels, business cards, and marketing collateral without licensing fees.
How does the screen ruler calibrate to actual physical size?▼
Standard bank cards (credit/debit/driver's license) conform strictly to the international ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 standard measuring exactly 85.60 mm by 53.98 mm. Our calibration mode allows you to adjust the on-screen card outline to match your physical card, calculating your screen's exact physical pixel density (PPI).
